How to play Number Recall
Open Number Recall, check the instructions and begin a round. Reproduce each number exactly. A wrong answer ends the current session. Check the relevant rule before repeating a move. Choose a comfortable screen position before beginning. Look at what changes after your first action.
Try a deliberate move
After a move, check what changed. Decide which rule explains the new state before acting again. Use the example to check your reasoning.
Your goal
Reproduce each number exactly. A wrong answer ends the current session. The feedback beside the game helps you follow the round. The example below illustrates a decision.
Step by step
- Select Start again to begin.
- Memorise the displayed number without entering it yet.
- After it disappears, type the number into the answer field.
- Choose Check number; a correct answer opens the next round.
Controls
Use the on-screen controls with a mouse or touch. Read a button’s label before selecting it. Use one clear input at a time.
A useful example
If the number is 3072, enter all four digits in order. Entering 372 misses the zero. Focus on why the action is allowed, not only its outcome. Consider the next action carefully.
Watch out for this
This is a memory game, not a clinical assessment. Take a moment to reassess the position before continuing. Take enough time to read a new position. If a game has a timer, learn its controls first rather than searching for them during the round.
